Skyfire is a new mobile browser, competing with Opera Mini. They have just opened up their beta service (hat tip to Wap Review) and we've added the app to the mjelly mobile software directory. The big thing that Skyfire is bringing to the mobile internet is the ability to use features like Ajax and Flash video on your mobile which is a pretty big deal, opening up more of the web to mobile. It is also supposed to be pretty fast running. The beta is available for Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms.
Skyfire is still in Beta and I had a few problems getting it to work on my N95 8GB but eventually managed to get it running over Wi-Fi. First glance it looks pretty good - you can zoom in and out of web pages just like opera mini and it seem to handle java script/ ajax ok. Will do a full review later on but for now:
